sprocket and wheel question

I am lookin to get 18inch rear tires for my 2000 400ex and i want to get a smaller sprocket in the front bigger in the back. will that even back out or will it give me the holeshot.

I am also debating between holeshots and razor. which one should i get?

well... smaller on front is more bottom...smaller on rear is more top end.....bigger in front is more top end....bigger in rear is more bottom end.....if i was you id go down 2 teeth in the rear or just let it go and youd have more bottem end...and id go with the holeshots..;)

Ya what he said... But tires depends... Holeshots if your racing mx, and razr's if your doing recreational, and razr2's if your racing xc... Thats what I would go with at least.

for the tires, depends if your on a budget. holeshots will hook a lil better because of the softer compund, but the razrs will last longer and still hook almost as good. i run razr mx.
