Pappy im thinkin about buying this exhaust but its a little beat and i was wondering If you will be able to coat this if you cant coat it because its to far gone than im not gonna bother buying it.
Is all that rust going to be a problem?

I can make it look great, the real question is are you willing to buy the pipe, pay me for the work needed and new packing etc? It may be a better value to buy new...just a thought.

I already prepped the headpipe, I will shoot that probably tomorrow

The disassembly of the silencer and work on that end shouldnt take but a few days. Since I have packing here that will save a ton of time if it is needed etc.


Everything goes right, it should be done and on its way back next week

My cylinder is at GT Thunder right now and I asked them to send it strait to you for molycoating when it is finished being bored out.
I forgot to send them the piston though so im guessing you won't be seeing it for at least a week or two.

I'm thinking about buying this header for my truck how much do you think it will cost to have it stripped and ceramic coated? It goes to a 4cyl toyota tacoma.

I'd say somewhere around $145 for the Yota exhaust

DHL dropped off the black ceramic about 40 minutes ago, your remaining part is in the oven at this time. If I have to stick my head in there to take a picture it will cost you extra:p

Hey pappy did you happen to notice if my cylinder had a heavy duty stud kit installed?

I will have to look, I remeber seeing studs in the box, but did not notice wether they were to be installed or they were the stock ones and the HD units were already installed etc.

they claim it does good stuff, but when i spoke with laz about it, he claims it works best after the piston has been used.

I recieved it today, It looks awesome, there is a couple chips on the header pipe (im guessing from being opened and then re-shipped) but nothing noticable. You did an awesome job it looks 1000x better thanks :D

is the marks on the headpipe from them repackaging it? as hard as i beat on that thing to get the stinger pipe back in the silencer i cant imagine it chipping:p
