z400 $3500 worth it?

A guy I know just purchsaed a 450r and is now selling his mildly modded z. It has a full yoshi exhaust, K&N, Pro taper bars, A/C nerfs, and Turf tamers. He is asking $3500. It seems like a good deal to me and i really like it but it is worth that? The only known problems with it are: Front plastic is cracked around mount, Bent grab bar, Normal plastic scrathes. The bike runs great and has been properly maintained. Do you guys think its worth it?

if its a 2003 and has a bent grab bar, the sub frame might be bent too.

id say go for it.

i think that's not a bad price considering he has a 1000 in upgrades on it!

We got a kfx athena 435 with hot cams, ported, powdercoated frame. K AND K graphics, and A pulse charger exhaust, with some other stuff for 3825 and it is an 03

It is an 03. There is also no signs of cracking in the frame around the shock mounts. He only rode it until the yfz 450 was released. The grab bar is barely bent from something falling on it in a trailer. I looked at the rear subframe with the plastics off and it looks to be perfectly straight to me. Anything else i should check out before i buy it?

I'd sell my 04 for $3500.....far nicer than anything on this board anywhere near that price...plus still under warranty(5 hrs on it)

If it has a K@N filter ckeck to see if it has been cleaned. i only cleaned mine once in a while. it let sand and dirt in my motor and recked it.

the filter is pretty new looking.... There is also a pretty good record of the service on it by the local atv shop. Im gonna buy it guys. thanks for helping me decide
