Car Help!

Becuase of gas prices, I am forcing myself to sell my Explorer Sport and get a car with better gas mileage. However, I am not a genius when it comes to cars. i am looking for a cheap but decently fast car. I was looking for suggestions from people as to a specific make/model. I am also looking for a car with manual transmission. If anyone on here knows anyone who is selling a car like this that would also be helpful. Any suggestions guys?

cheap, good gas milage and fast all dosent belong togeather. you can have cheap and fast, but not realiable or good on gas and you can have cheap and good on gas but you wont be fast by no means.

well i can trade my truck in at the dealership and hope to find a nice used car there..im just trying to take suggestions for nice models

a 97-99 nissan maxima, fast, allright on gas, reliable, and very comfy!
