mid-throttle bog/ shutoff

okay, so started my 450r up today, and when it warmed up, i went to rev it, and got to about 2/5 throttle when it just bogged down

and, if i jammed the throttle, it would shutoff

but, if i gently revved it to the limiter, it wouldnt bog or shutoff

any ideas? im on stock jetting

i had the same problem, i just cleaned my air filter and carborator and solved my problem. I dont know if it will solve yours though.....

My buddy had the same problem on a raptor and we did the same thing. Just clean the filter and carb and see how that does.

get a 55 leakjet and adjust your acc. pump
try this first

haha, thanks for the help, but i have an 05 450r, not an 06

i forgot to add, i had my quad apart all winter, with the carb of the motor, and just started it up for the first time this weekend
