If you look at over-all MX championships....Farr is probably the winningest rider ever except for Gary Denton i think? Not sure on the championship totals for each rider....

I think on any given day or lap, Jones is still the fastest guy out there on the track if he's on his game. The guy can flat out fly! I still believe if they'd let him ride his 250R, he'd beat 'em all!

As far as consistency goes over the past few years, Gust, Natalie, Farr, or even Byrd. Gust is probably the most consistent rider today as far as getting top 5 finishes or podiums...if you look at the past 3-5 years. Natalie in the past 2 years has really come on strong and has proven himself to be great. Byrd had it all along but I think he has the right program working for him now to go for a championship!

As for the young guys and who's going to be the next "champion" in the years to come.....Wimmer or Brown. Both have shown they have the speed to run up front....i think as they both mature in the coming years, you'll see great things from them. I think Brown is going to be un-stoppable in a few years, he can haul balls!

Not to leave the XC guys out....but its pretty plain and simple. Barry Hawk is the man as far as the old school days. Ballance is probably the best as far as championships and consistency. But I think Borich is the fastest guy out there if he's on his game. Gotta root for Borich too cuz he's on a Honda! I also think he could kill everyone on the 4-strokes if they'd let him ride his 250R!
