Anyone have stock shocks with a arms?

I'm thinking about starting to build up a front end but I don't have enough money for everything. I was wondering if I could just order a arms now and have the shocks revalved later. Has anyone tried this and if so how did it work?

i put +2+1 a-arms on with the stock shocks.i was saving up to buy some elkas...i went to the track 3 times.then i found were the lower a-arms bolted to the shocks,the chrome peeled and crack pretty bad.i would think from the stress of the stock shocks. i would do the shocks and a-arms all at once.

Were these standard travel aarms or long travel? I wouldn't think it would matter with standard travel aarms.

get the shocks done first. Live with them and get used to themso when you put the a-arms on thy will feel amazing. I rode a couple months with stock a-arms and triple rate +2 shocks. They actually workd great. soaked alot of stuff up very nicely.Hope this helps. Rob
