I was fumbling through the archives on the Honda Japan site when I came across some 2 strokes that I would love to ride!!

1984 RC500M 60+hp (RC = factory race bike instead of the normal CR designator). I remember watching the KX500's and CR500's battle at the local track when I was a teenager.

amazing what the 2 strokes are capable of when they are not held back....of course is a 95 hp 250 2 stroke....too bad they dont have the 500cc class anymore, that were the men of the track...those bikes were nuts...i remmeber my dad had a KX 500 and it hauled ***, then my dads friend had a Cr 500 that was decked out with performace parts and it walked all over the KX500...but hey i guess the 450 are faster...lmao the 500s were the fast bikes...

The high horsepower 2-stroke 250cc circuit bikes are V-twins. the 400cc street version is a V3 and the 500cc race version is a V4. There are quite a few of the street-legal NSR250's here on Okinawa.

There is a really nice '99 black NSR250R that terrorizes the streets of Okinawa. That thing is FAST!!
