Shock/A-arm widening kit??

Okay, now I have seen this kit offered on Ebay for quite sometime and have always been interested to hear if it works or not. Do any of you people use this on your quads??? It looks to me like it will ad a bunch of weight to the front end and possibly affect the work rate of the shock (by this I mean the angle and such, an improper angle causes a shock to over work and cause premature wear and overheating). So I was wondering if this is the case with this set up? Heres a link to the kit sold on Ebay....

I must admit tho that those 450r shocks look bad ***.

i used one for a while. it works great for just trail riding and some jumps, but i wouldnt use it mx. i have one for sale if you are intersted.
