Your right my friend along with 400ex a arms shocks, well everything is 400ex or 450r except the frame motor and gas tank and it rides like a dream. Yeah you could say it is a 400 wanta be but it has a reverse and it will smoke most 400s. Yeah the bumper isnt my favorite one but it matches my colors so it will have to work for now untill I have my arc one powdercoated to match. I just got back from Hatfeild Mccoy in WV and it preformed great. You guys should try that place out. We rode for over 300 miles on trails in three days. Other then it rained two days it was a blast. Talk about muddy man it was soupy muddy.

I use to have 250r front a arms and just last month switched to a 400ex setup and I do like it much better. Im using a arms spindles and brakes off a 400ex so it rides brakes and handles great. Tell you the truth it handles better then my 99 400ex I use to own.

do the 400ex plastics fit right up or do you need to modify any thing i was thinking about doing that to my 300

I like how the red and yellow are mixed because I have a 400ex with yellow plastic and a cranberry red frame. rest of it are black a-arms and swingarm. the rest is chrome. I'll try and get a picture of it

Yeah the fronts are stock 400ex and the back is a 250r atv shock but has been reworked and revalved. I have a set of 450r fronts but havnt mounted yet. Im going to wait till I really need to. As high as I jump Im sure it wont take long.

If I had to do it all over again I would just buy the new maier 450r look alike plastic for the 300ex. I had to do a good bit of mods to make it work but I have broken off all the mounting tabs and now had to make all new mounts. It has been a pain in the *** having to come up with new ways to mount it all.

No, I used to race dirtbikes, street bikes and drag cars but Im not as young as I used to be and I know that I couldn't hang . Plus old injuries just wont let me ride as hard as I use to. I would like to get into freestyle atv. Im not too bad on some jumps and I have came up with a few good tricks on the ground as well.

I am running a trx250r rear shock that has been revalved to my weight and ridding style and as for the fronts Im am running a stock set of kfx 400 shocks but I have a set of stock 450r shocks that I plan on mounting when the kfx shocks get bad. I want to get a set of ohlins for the front. I just about bought a used set that needed rebuilding last week but I think I will probley just do it right and buy a new set and be done with it. As for the front tires I have 25 bucks in them new. They came off of Earnhardt Jrs new Predaitor. He bought one new at the local dealer less then 1/4 of mile from my house and had all new wheels and tires put on it and I was at the right place at the right time. After these pop or wear out I plan on putting i razers on the front to match the rears.
