first time hairscramble

i race moto x but im racing my first hairscramble this weekend and i was wondering if their is any thing special i shold do gogals mud fule things to look for im probobly rnumg my stock tires to

haha. do a search, there is alot of checklists and preperations to do for a race. i'd find them but i am at work.

Skids, 6 ply tires... if your runnin stockers take some plugs and compressed air cuase you might have to make a quick repair:o Also run the airbox lid to help keep the mud and water out. And don't drink the night before the race or it will be a long day!

GO and have fun. Don't worry about the 6 ply tires and rolloffs the very first time. Just go race and see how you like it.

I would sugest a chest protecter and camel back.

I was just having a some fun there. The word "hairscramble" give me a little laugh.

Seriously though, like smr said, just go and enjoy it. Don't put a whole lot into your equipment until you decide if you like it or not.

i race in michigan at portland and i raced in c but i race moto cross in c to it was awsom im going to race the next one later this year

good job!!! i race both myself and think u got take alot u learned from 1 style and use it in the other.just ride and practice and speed will come to you.the more races you attend the more things u will notice u need for yourself or quad to go faster and smoother.

mullet250r was that last weekend you raced in portland, My buddy raced a yfz450 in c class last week he was 77j. it was his first time ever racing but hes been riding for 15years he took 2nd and 14th overall. Im going to try making it out there with him sometime to give it a try.

sum won shood tell that gye abowt hukked awn fonixkz. it haz workd lotz 4 me!!! lol im running my first "hairscramble" this sunday too....hope i do as well. my goal is too just finish the race, and not wind up like a turtle on my back! anyone run wedron?
