What is the best pipe for a 400ex? I was thinking about an fmf powercore 4 or a yoshi. Thanx

Get a Sparks, Hetricks, Duncan, CT, TC, Trinty, any of those Engine Builders Pipe are gonna be good and add more power then any other.

in the dirt wheels dyno test the wb and the tc had close power and the wb never fell below stock hp or fell quick. they are right about the engine builders pipes but i would choose tc or wb

You guys looking at the Sparks, I would check out the Hetricks because it`s the same Pipe but it`s suppose to add even more Power and is around $100 cheaper.

Where can I see this GT Thunder Pipe at? I think GT Thunder did do a Dyno on the Hetricks. Ask Casey he would know.

The GT Pipe looks nice. I have never heard anything about it. You should go ahead and try it and tell us how it is.

id love to just get it to try it but when i spend that much $ i want to get it right the frist time..lol..I talked to Gt 1 time i asked him how it compared to Sparks,he said there head to head, but he noted that what made his better was that his had equal head pipe leaght,so at like 2000 rpm's it didnt have a fall off in power,if you look at the dyno almost all have a dip in the graph. But also LRD said that equal leanth didnt make as much peak hp,so they said theres is about a 1/4 off in leanth..so the only real thing i know to look for is a pipe maker with a bigger head pipe,Sparks,WB,LRD,GT,I think its 1 1/2 in. i think?????? like biggun its not bigger then stock...So i dunno..lol..Thanks

I was seriously considering LRD, but no one really mentioned it. Is it a good pipe..or no?

Claas900, Well I found the Price and that thing is expensive. I would go with the Hetricks or Sparks. The thing I like about Hetricks is when you want Motor work they aren`t that far behind yet like Sparks and TC.

Big Gun has bigger headers than stock...atleast mine does? Mine is big enough that the little bar that goes over the mid section to keep the plastic from melting doesnt fit over it....but that could be bad.

I guess my point is that the big guns headers are bigger, and that yoshi loooks good

I have seen a couple of LRD pipes & am now thinking about getting one. They are pretty loud, but they put out a lot of power.

Actually I would try the Duncan also. They seem to be very good with Pipes. If you get a Sparks, Duncan, or Hetricks you won`t go wrong. If you want a Slip-On you won`t beat the TC.
