Can you flip the rims on a 400ex so that the valve stem is to the inside? it would make the quad wider, but my valve stem hits, i was jus wondering if anyone knew how to pull this off because i have heard of many people doin his moddification...
thanks for your time

Put about 3 washers on each bolt, then they will clear the vavle stems

I am only doing this a a temporary thing though .
I used shorter valve stems and 2 washers the shorter stems cleared but not by much so I used washers also .
So Jumping can damage spindles fast right?
I thought it was just hard on balljoints , Because I could care less about the balljoints New a arms are in the close future .
Anyone any imputs on this would be helpfull thanks Kris .

Handling will suffer. Feedback into the bars will increase, thereby increasing arm pump.

Tie rods will bend very easily. It's possible to bend the control arms when jumping, especially uppers.

Never heard of anyone actually bending or breaking a spindle because of it on a 400ex - there are generally weaker links that will bend/break first.
