For those of you who have a dirtbike, I would like to see some of your machines, and get some background on what you found to good or bad about them. I sold my YZ250 a couple years ago, I got a 400ex, but I'm thinkn' maybe I might jump back on a dirtbike, though this is just an idea floating around. Their definately more cost effective, and cheaper to maintain, but that's not the main reason, the main reason being up my way the quads are so overpriced. With that aside, let's see some dirtbikes!

hell yea dirtbike rocks ( all preference) less to maintai easier to mounouver (SP?) safer in a couple of ways but if you wanna have fun get a thumper

i got a 2001 cr125 goes pretty good! I kinda want to get another wheeler though so its prbly for sale, but nothing against it though just like wheelers alittle more. My pic is alittle muddy.

lol, they started making the crf 250r in 04 i belive haha, i want to get a thumper to, and rmz250 ive seen that bike forsale on thumpertalk . are you selling it?

well i dont know crap about bikes, how much for a 250 4-stroke around 99-03? i wouldnt mind having one, plus my dad might start riding again

i have had my 2006 kx250f now for a few months and its by far the best bike ive ever been on. i had a raptor 660 with tons of mods and i feel my stock 250f would have ate it alive. i will post pics once i get my monster energy graphic kit on in a few days

In the paper by me there is a 1990 suzuki dr100 for 300 obo. I was thinking about giving it a look and spin tomorrow. Doesn't look to horrible for an oldie. I'm 5'11" and 160. I know this thing won't have much power or be the best size, but for putting around when the warrior is down, untill I get a 125 hopefully this summer. Would this be ok for a first dirtbike, never really rode on, except around a friends yard ha. Are they 4stroke or 2.

Here's my '96 RMX250. I was a diehard Honda fan until I road this bike. Awesome power!!..... but I still want a CR250, CR500 or XR650.

05 crf250... i'll never go back to a quad or a 2 stroke bike after riding this thing... handles great... power is unreal for a 125 class bike... suspension is awesome... everyone of my friends that ride 2 stroke 125s all put their bikes up for sale after riding mine... its that good

Oh yeah, since when do kxfs have yellow rear springs. that looks like an rmz with kxf plastic.

see that lil sticker on the rezzy... thats because it has suspension work and they changed the spring rates;)

every color is a differnt weight... thast why some bikes hae black blue red green etc...

oh figured he just stuck with stock, I put kxf plastic on my old rmz and firgured he did that same.

And no, rmz, i dont have an 06 yet, i havent even ben able to ride since November of 2005, and right now i'm not sure if I can ride at all this season. So if I do get back riding and racing i'll get 06's but if not theres no point in buying a bike to look at.

So I'll try to ride, and for like 15 minutes in the yard i'll be like sweet, its fine, but then ill go to my track and hit a jump and the landings not pretty:ermm:

So I just give it a few more weeks each time then try again:p

by looking at the shape of the pipe i guess that will be a cr 500 well now think cr 250 pinger ,fast right?? now double that so yea that bike could probably beat any quad or dirtbike on here :macho

that sucks, whatd the doctors say? Did they tell you to stay off of it for a certain amount of time? Are you gonna be racing next year?

Do you guys know wat years for the kx are like all the same for the exhaust, motor etc. I have a 1991 kx 125 and want to get sum exhaust and want to know how close and wat other years r close to that to get exhaust for it? i'll post pics later

I use too... I miss it now and then but I'm faster on quads. But on a mx track I'll hit anything on a bike, I hestitate on quads. I do want to invest in another one someday :)
