That's what I usually use.

And, yes ES9BS is correct for the Everstart. They are $45+/-

I'd invest in a $10 battery tender (float charger) as well for when you store it.

When you get it and add the acid.. it will only be 75% charged. You need to put it on a batter charger between 0.9Amps and 4 amps. Takes about 4 hours at 1Amp to charge to full. Don't overcharge, and don't run it without charging it. It will severly hamper the capacity of the battery.

well I got the battery put it in, no start. The lights come on but when I push the start button nothing. The switch is on on position. in neutral pull the clutch nothing. I tried following the wires to see if there is a dissconnection somewhere but didnt see anything..

Any ideas?

I do have a multi meter, any suggestions?

do the lights dim/turn off when you hit the starter?

Does the starter make a noise?

Ok I got it stated by over riding the starter solinoid with a screw driver, dumb me I had the gas turned off and didnt realize it so the quad then died after reving high. It would not start after that. I turned the gas on and was still over riding the starter with a screw driver, it would pop like it was about to start but no cigar.. after 15 minutes the battery then died and I gave up. Im thinking I need a new started /kill/lights toggle switch, but not sure thats all I need..

Does this help, please? any suggestions will help, also if anyone has a starter/kill/light toggle switch let me know. Mine is shot......

alright, if you are still having problems tke a jumpe rcable and run it from the positive battery terminal to the starter motor terminal. If the engine turns over then you need a new silinoid if not then you either have bad ground, where a connection is toching the frame and is not getting a strong enough current to the silinoid , or you need a new starter. Luckily i got away with gettin a new silinoid off ebay for 30 $ its not here yet but id take an ebay over a 60$ new one..PM me back for ne questions or on aim/aol Ridinred300
