Here are the details...

Must sell, second screaming baby on the way. This quad was new to me in September of 2003. When I bought it the cases didn’t even show signs of boot wear, it was brand-new and 100% stock. Extreme Tec-ATV and myself have done all the work. All engine clearances were measured to the 1/1000 of an inch, deck height checked, and only the best Cometic flexsteel gaskets, genuine Honda parts and quality after-market parts were used. This quad was set up with a true compression ratio of 10.8:1 and runs great on 92-octane fuel. It has been properly jetted for spring/summer/fall riding conditions at approximately 1000 feet above sea level. The quad has tons of low-end grunt and pulls hard all the way through the RPM range. This machine is not for the timid as it’s current set-up, coupled with the Sparks exhaust, is guaranteed to take many by surprise and will produce unbelievable stump-pulling low-end power. You will not be disappointed!!! All routine maintenance has been preformed on time, oil changed after every weekend ride. You will not find a cleaner 2001. Engine was properly broke in after rebuild and has only seen two weekend trips since engine break in.

Engine Mods:

Wiseco 11:1 440 Big Bore Kit (installed winter 2005)
HotCam Stage Two Performance Cam
R&D Heavy Duty Valve Springs

Will also throw in 400EX Clymer service manual, 16 tooth front sprocket and stock 400EX tool kit.

Sold 5/5/06. Only got $3600 for it. I suppose that's not bad considering I had a good $6500 in it.
