Well my YFZ is gone for good now . A guy came to me with $6500 cash tonight and picked it up ( 11:30 at night :huh ) , so now I'm quadless . I didn't ask where he got $6500 CASH but I suspect I know where the money comes from ..... it smells a little skunky . :ermm:

It was a fun journey with the YFZ for the little time that I used it , but everything has to come to an end sooner or later .

It doesn't seem to be fake cash .... it's all serial numbered and has hallograms in the right places .... and if it is , I know the guy's adress and license plate number so if anything fishy happens I got his info . I took it all down just cuz we did the deal at 11:30 at night and it was cash .... seems a little odd but all the money was there .:)

As far as the price , I sold it for about the average going price of a used 2004 YFZ in my area .

In a way I was happy to see it leave since I wasn't using it , but another part of me was sad . Ah well ..... I'll just have to see what ATV the future brings .

I'll make sure to throw in a coffee from Tim Hortons also . :p Would you like a beaver tail to go along with it ?? ( I know I got a few of you guys confused about what a beaver tail is ... it's not what you think ) I'll let you guys ponder it ... then I'll tell you what it is !!!

Could you imagine $6500 in $1 coins ???:eek2: It would take me a week to count it all !!! I had a hard enough time counting 240 $20 bills , 4 $100 bills , 16 $10 bills , 23 $50 bills . He had everything neatly rolled in 1000 dollar packs .

Oh that's quite possible . :blah:

I know for certain that I've ruled out the Kawie Brute Force 750 .... way to damn tippy for my likes . My other buddy just bought a Suzuki King Quad 700 and it's a really nice ride ... very comfortable and everything is well positioned .

I'm still leaning towards a 660 Grizzly in Camo color ... but we'll see what I can get a good deal on .

If Pappy wouldn't have parted out his XC 450r so early , you can guess what would have been sitting in my garage within the next couple weeks . Just a little too late on selling mine I guess . :ermm:

I know how you feel greg. I sold my 400 about a month ago and i was sort of happy to see it go. Someone else can enjoy it like i use to.

I planned on putting the money towards a new quad but i decided i have other plans for my cash :chinese: I think ill buy one in a couple years but now i want a mud truck.

Let us know what you end up with for sure! I paid Cash for my 400ex (5800, in 2002) I had it in an envolope though...

the 650 Arctic cats are pretty nice, my friends dad got one and his son can wheelie that beast no problems... crazy stuff. I however can't stand automatics...

I went around looking at all the makes and models . To me , the Cat is WAY too big . I mean I like the ground clearance and all , but that sucker weighs almost 750 lbs .

I don't want a Brute Force ... my buddy has one and it's a lot of problems .

Never been a fan of Polaris !!

I liked the fact that Honda has a GPS built in , but I've heard they are way underpowered for their CC .

It's between the Suzuki King Quad 700 and the Yamaha Grizzly 660 . I think I'm going with the Grizz in a Camo color . Mostly because I can get a better deal cuz I'd be buying it off the same guy I bought my YFZ from . They'll throw in a few things ( Warn 2500 lbs winch , winch adapter to move from front to rear , maybe a free plow or discount on a passenger seat .

at least you sold it to a typical yamaha owner :blah: :blah:

Well good to hear ya finaly sold the YFZ. I wouldn't totaly rule out the honda if I were you. They are a little underpowered compared to the rest of the quads in it's class, but it does have the best handling. Good luck with whatever you get.

It's not too underpowered:
Suzuki KingQuad: 695cc
Yamaha Grizzly:660cc ( Exhaust sounds the best in my opinon )
Honda Rincon: 675cc ( I've heard that the new honda is leaps and bound over the old one)
Arctic Cat 700 EFI SE: 695cc

That's a tough decision.

They offer the 250 to the 500 in manual. :) That's the reason why I am getting the 400, so much more for the money then anything else in it's class. IRS, 10 inches front and back of clearance, a locking diff, four wheel drive and it looks great.
