the yfz is my friend that races. He doesent know to much about engines yet, but he is learning.


I have ran my 400 for a month or so now. But the subframe bit the dust, so I got a newer one. and am welding on mounts for a grab bar.

then I just need to throw sprockets, chain. filter, oil, oil filter and im good. heck, I will be doing that on race day probly.


but that yfz motor needs some work, I just got the last of the trans gears and the replacement shift fork today in the mail. But no servace manual :mad: . it hapends. between the online parts diagrams and my brain I have got the case back together, the oil and gear shift mechinisum on. so the hard parts done... I hope.

I have a pdf of a yz426 manual if you want for reference. Its not the same as the yfz but very very close. Shouldn't be much you can't figure out. Its the entire manual. I took it to the engineering college here at western, went to the lab popped the disk in printed it(front and back on one page) while I was in class. Took it to kinko's and 4.00 dollars later I had a service manual for my hybrid engine.

I will take some once I get the subframe pc'ed and mounted. Its all prettyed up now for the race this weekend. usually it is a tad more dirty. Not much... but a little.

That black looks nice on the motor. I think when I get some cash and go PCing shat Ill go with a black motor.

ya, I got it from eastwood. pretty much a sears type place. its just a cheepie 100$ starter gun. I have got my moneys worth out of it thats for shure.
