Window tint, im gettin my new ride done

well since i sold off the eclipse i got a CRV, the windows are not tinted at all not even the back, my eclipse was 5% all the way around so driving the CRV feels so weird people can see me. any way i did the windows on the eclipse they came out perfect but there were no curves (i only did the door windows the rest was done by a pro) the rear of the CRV has some curves so i decided i would save myself the time and trouble, i called a few places and the best estimate i got was $225 for all the windows with a life time guarentee. i didnt think that was too bad being there is 9 windows total. What do you guys think of the price should i keep lookin or does that sound about right, also i kinda want to be a little more leagle this time so i was gonna go with 20% any body have pics of 20% on their car, do you like it? its hard as hell to see out of mine at night with the 5%.

we just got tint done on my sisters tiburon. im not sure what % they are. but the cops are always after the car. very annoying

well i drove my eclipse with 5% for 5 or 6 months i never had trouble with the cops, but i just want to go a little lighter so i can see at night, its nice on sunny days, it feels like your driving through a tunnel

I'm not sure how dark mine are, I done them 2 years ago myself and I think they came out pretty good, but there weren't curves like you said. You can't see out of them whatsoever at night, only headlights coming lol. You cant see in them during the day unless one side is open, or the sun is hitting them directly. Heres a pic, what percent do you think they are?

You ought to keep looking for a better price. I got my ram done with a sliding rear (8 pieces, total) for $90 with a lifetime guarantee. In indiana, 35% is the lowest legal limit. I got my truck done 20%, but since the windows are eye level, it looks legal (kind of like an illusion) On a little car, there is not a chance I would go 5%, i maybe would do 20%.

I got my two fronts done for $50 (35%). My sisters bf got his escort done in 5% for $150 otd, they did a AWESOME job on it too!

On my tahoe i left the rear stock which is 20%, I put 5% over the sides up til the drive and passenger side windows and i did those in 35%, i then topped it off with an 11" tint strip up front man it looked bad*****.

My truck has 5% on it and you can't see at all at night. My gf car (Celica) has 15% and you can barely see. Since a CRV is more of an open area inside, 15 or 20 might not be to bad. 5% is a little much.

5% on the back 20% on the front. They look lighter than they really are becuse the sun is shining through the windshield. I'm very happy with how they turned out.

225 is a decent price for all those windows...20% all the way around will be nice...i'm factory tint rear and 35% on the sides with a 10 or 11" drop in the front thats 5%.

i think real dark tint is retarted, you can hardly see out. i think 30% is the lowest i would go

i think the darker the better....i just didnt go too dark because i didnt wanna get messed with by the cops...i hate it when people can see in my vehicle.

i know what ya mean i dont like people lookin in my car, plus im installing a system in the back, if i dont tint it then it will be in plane veiw, thats just asking for it to get stolen.

i like dark tint it makes your car look better IMO, gives ya some privacy too, my 5% was easy to see out of during the day i had no problems until night but i couldnt see backing up anyway because of the huge spoiler.

if u wanna see out at night do not get 5% i have 20% on sides and 5% in the back of my s 10 and its hard as hell to see out at night, i would not go lower than 20%.

if i had to do it again id definetly go 20%... right now its just to dark... i had all mine done professionally for $50 for the sliding back, both sides, and 10" down the front...
