Which be a better woods racer and just in general be faster? a 2003 z 400 with a full exhuast or a 1999 400ex with 416 bigbore, Stage 2, hot cam, Lonestar extended axles, Laegar A arms and swing arm, Works shocks front & rear with Res.,

well if your racin' in the woods it souds like 400ex is wide...if your gonna race in the woods you don't want anything too wide...but i would say the 400ex would be faster ;)

well z's frames are bulit crapy thats yearsso id go with the ex which has alot more extas

They are pretty close with similar mods in the trails. Mostly depends on the rider but I think the ex's frame is built a bit more solid if you were going to get into any long distance jumping.
