I knew my wife was having a baby, but today we went for the first ultasound. My jaw hit the ground when the doc said there is 2 babys. I know its going to be hard. Anyone have any advise, beside stocking up on dipes.
This is also our first time as parents.

Congrats to both you and the wife . I'm not a father , so I can't really give any advice other than start investing in stocks for diapers and baby wipes !!!:p

I don't have twins, but am one. And if I can offer any advice it would be this- don't try to raise them as the same person. For they will have the same amount of differences as they do similarities.

Welcome to the twins club! I have twin daughters soon to be 22 years old. The first two years will be a handfull for you and the wife. Not much sleep, lots of diapers and pretty much a total free time comitment.
Once you're through those first two years it will be a fantastic experiance whatching them grow. They will be built in playmates, best friends and companions. They're trully a blast! I wouldn't rade the experiance for anything in my life!
Congratulations to both you and your wife!

First... Holy old thread, Batman!

Second... If you had your kid in February... In which you were 20... Your B-Day is in August... Hmmm... You were indeed 19 when you got "knocked up"... Just an observation, please feel free to correct my arithmetic.

Third... I better not have a twin running around out there!

No, it really doesn't matter how young you were. If your happy, that's all that really matters.

Congratulation!!! I have twin girls that will be 5 in Oct. and a son that will be 9 in Sept. Twins are a lot of work but they are worth every minute. I would definitely start buying diapers and formula now. Good luck!!!
