Lugnut question

I have searched the forums but I feel a bit confused. I have stock 300ex rims that I put razrs on today and i think i put my lugnuts on backwards. One side is flat and the other side of the nut is cone shaped. Does the flat side sit against the rim or does the cone end go in towards the rim?

the cone side is the side that should be touching the rim.
