I will be buying a 38mm Airstryker carb and RAD valve for my 265R PV next week and was wondering if I could get some advice on how to set it up.

Should I use a reed spacer or not? Also can anyone give me some ideas on where to start my jetting.

500 ft above sea level.... hot and humid in the summer.
265 PV ported... open airbox with K&N filter.

Forgot to mention I am using a Sparks pipe with Sparks silencer.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

if you are using the trx rad valve, then no, no spacer. if you are using the cr rad valve, then i beleive you do have to run the spacer...

im betting you'll be around 170-175 for your main jet, needle on the 3rd clip or so... i guess it also depends on what youre mixing your gas at as well... start at 180 and come down...
