400ex??? A little biast it seems?

Definately cannondale speed stock for stock but if you want to do lots of mods the 400ex would be the way to go.

Handling: 400ex
Acceleration: Cannondale
Top Speed: Cannondale
Reliability: 400ex
From what I hear though the Cannondale's handling is very very good, but the 400ex's handling is very very very good.

Do you want it set up to race from the factory, or have an extra 2 large to set it up yourself?

Their is a test of the 2002 in the new dirtwheels, but how could you guys pick a stock 400 over a stock cannondale. I never rode a cannondale but I'm thinking it is a trick quad built in AMERICA. Have you guys who said 400 ever ride a cannondale, or do you get your info from only mags and word of mouth? Just because you own a 400 doesn't make it the best quad ever built. There are a number of new designs, and different ways of solving minor problems on the cannondale that are revolutionary on the Cannondale I think will work really well and it is only pushing our sport to the next level. As for modifications, your wrong, you can put an exhaust pipe on it, custom tune your fuel injection system, aftermarket suspension if you desire. The new 2002 race models look as though their suspension is pretty tight stock.

Exactly, Do you want the factory to set it up, or go through the hassle yourself? If I had the $$$ I would buy a c-dale, but I dont, so I will slowly build a c-dale beater, or save up and buy a c-dale later.
