OEM Parts

If a online company I order oem parts from tells me a part is discontinued does that mean I cannot get it anywhere else? I have seen where they list parts to be discontinued and you can go and order them from some other online place.

I think what that means is that, they won't make anymore so once they are out, you either have to get it from someone who does have it, or find it used. But the supplies are limited if you know what I'm saying

The push rod for the rear master cylinder....I was going to order a new one but I can make due with the one I have...just have to do some good cleaning on it.
