Double DIN headunit question and suggestions

Looking into getting a double din headunit to go in my 2000 gmc sierra. Mainly so I don't have that ugly filler plate that comes with most install kits, but also b/c you don't see them to often. Besides ebay where are some other places to get good deals on these. Suggestions on brands good or bad, and anything else.

Etronics sells em but watch out their customer service is the worst i have ever seen.

Personally I'd reccomend buying a single DIN, and buying something similiar to what Alpine makes, it's a center channel speaker for increased sound quality that fits in the other DIN. Or if you add a TV down the road you can always put a DVD player in the other one like so...
