Does anybody know of a polish or wax or something you can put on you plastic to bring it back to life. The bike i'm looking at has the plastic scrached up. Nothing too deep but it makes it look dull.I'd like to polish it up and add a new graphics kit.

WD 40 works, Tire foam is also great. these are only temp, but last for a few rides and make it much easier to clean afterwards because the mud falls off.

I use this stuff called "Plexus", spray on polish. It works pretty good on my yellow plastic. I bought it at a BMW Motorcycle dealership.

unfortuntly my quad gets stored in my truck, so it is in da weather ALL the time, so the plastics are pretty dull, latly i've been using the yellow (protectant) armor all wipes, they work really well, shines it up lots and makes it ballin' for when you rollin round da hood.

I usually clean mine with armorall to make it look new, but if they are really bad clean the crap out of them. Then, take and get a spray can of clear coat paint. Clear coat the crap out of them and they will better than new.

I GUARANTEE this to work...just be sure to put what ever graphics and stickers you want on there before you clear coat it..LOL

you can sand out scratches with fine sand paper..then use a heat gun to remelt the fine scratches out.i ve learned to do it in two passes. if you dont you can make the plastic to soft and it will fold on you..also do it on the quad so as to not loose it original form.... but it works
