Seating Crankshaft Seals?

Can anyone tell me how far you seat the crankshaft seals into the crankcase on a 88 bottom end? For some reason it seems to me that they need to be seated about 1/8 past flush, but for the life of me I can't find it in the clymer manual:ermm: I guess it has been to long since I have put crank seals in.

Clutch side is flush with the case and the mag side needs to be 5mm in the hole !!
