key switch relocation

I was wandering what everyone does with the key switch when you go with aftermarket bars and a crossbar pad? Do you get rid of it and put a tether on or what? I guess I should say this is on a 450r...

i zip tied mine to a break line and wonce to the break line holder.

Just get rid of it Follow it all the way down and unplug it. and hook up a connector piece to it.

Better way is cut the wires hook up a teather
