ive been told my timing chain could be what is rattling in my engine...my question is, is what do u have to do to tighten it or w.e.??

replace it theres a tensioner on the side of it but its likely got play in the chain an 02 crf 450 chain will fit right in there 1 link thicker same lenghth & much stronger than the 400 chain & its cheaper Ive done it its a common upgrade for the EX

will that crf chain help with anything, besides strength...like power or anything??

also where can i get one of those...:ermm:

Nah--won't help with power vs. a new 400EX cam chain. If anything the heavier 450 chain might contribute to more parisitic losses within the engine vs. the lighter weight 400EX cam chain. I would think the difference though would be pretty much un-measurable. The 450 chain will just last longer. Get the 450 chain if you need to replace yours.
