alarms for ATV

Has anyone installed an alarm in their ATV and if so can you tell me something about it. I just bought an ATV and it is going to have to be outside next to the house till I buy a shed for it. I already have locks, cables, and chain securing it now. Thanks for any help or suggestions. dave

I went a step further and got the whole package. Now I can be in my house and start my quad, I love it:D

I was only kidding, I don't think they have a such thing for quads. I never heard of them if they do have them!

ya, they do have alarms for atv's. the whole package is relatively cheap, and consists of a 3 inch diameter hole in the side of your house, a good used shotgun, and an air horn ( so you can tell the police that you warned the intruders) never fails.

tie a fishing line around the quad and another end around your pinky. when they try to steal the quad you will get a nice tug on your pinky and you can go get them

I'll be the first one to admit I was wrong! I never heard of such a thing though!

me too i know there are alarms for bikes

but never saw one of those before :eek2:

Masterlock makes a lock cable that sends a electric current through the cable from a small locked battery pack. If someone cuts the cable or tries to tamper withe pack the alarm is set off, you lock it just like any other cable lock. The alarm is ear peircingly loud. But the one that I have was given to me, so I don't know who sells them.:)

They make alarms especially for motorcycles i don't know why you couldn't take one of those and rig it to an ATV.
