pc'd arms are stripped, waiting to get the word on what 2 ball joints snapped. as soon as i know i will let you know so you can order new ones. (I have the lowers here so i am assuming its on a set of uppers but the way things have been going i dont assume anything:p )

yep, i talked to my brother this morning and he said they was stick tight. pbblaster, heat, everything was tried. he had them starting to move a bit back and forth when they both snapped.

i sent them on to be burnt off, so hopefully that will help and when they are stripped I cn work on getting the rest of whats in the arm removed. I am surprised I dont see more of this, but happy that I dont also:p

its the 2 heim ends on a upper arm. i am taking them to burgard and he can either get them out or fix them properly etc. those babies were in thier TIGHT! they snapped flush with the arm and no easy out will remove them. hold off ordering any parts, let me see what Izzy say's, he may have some in stock

Yep,Burgard fixed them good as new. He did not have the size heim end you needed, but the repair is complete etc.

Texiera Tech. but they are hard to get a hold of. Is there a certain heim joint I should be looking for? Certain measurement or something?

Izzy said it was a half inch hiem end, I assume he was refering to the shank diameter. He uses one size smaller or we would have been all set:ermm:

I am expecting the chrome units back any day, I figured I would ship as soon as they arrived.

If its cheap enough, I will try and cover part of the chrome work, I feel bad for you having such bad luck with this set of arms:p

thanks pappy, you don't know the half of it!!! I bought the front -end used, and an AXIS shock was lost in transit. Now the arms basically need new heims and snaprings etc.... with all the money I've spent I could have bought a damn pro-traxx front end!!!! Will never buy used again, NEVER.:scary:

pappy I will need those arms (chrome) by wednesday July 5th at the latest. We have the season opener approaching quickly and our bike is not ready. You did warn me about the chrome and how long it could take. But it's almost been 2 1/2 months! I am completely aware that this is not your fault, you have done great work for me. But I need those arms, chrome or not it doesn't matter. I PM'ed you but I got no response.

only that when i called on thursday they said they had shipped. im sitting here scratching my butt waiting for ups....im not sure who i ticked off but the past 2 months it seems nothing has come fast enough
