jet or no jet

i have a stock 05 400ex and if i were to get a kn air filter and a kn air lid, would i need to jet it????? and also if i just had the filter would i have to jet it??? i thinkin no on both but just to make sure

yes. so if you have to rip into the carb, might want to start ordering some more parts that would require jetting so you can get it all done (or most of it done) at once.
