my friend has a rapter carb and i was wondering if it would be posible to put it on my 400ex cause i can modify it to fit but need to know cause it will not cost me a thing to get it but want to know if it will even work thanks

the raptor is a dual carb setup, so it wont work. if you only put one carb on, it is a smaller carb so you wont see any performance gain.

is it an aftermarket carb already? if not it has dual carbs, both being smaller than the stocker on your 400ex. anyway, a 50mm carb would be way to big on your dinky 400 anyway. it would be a tough fit.
