Grab Bar Question???

Well, I got stuck pretty good Sunday at my last race. Im not sure what kind of grab bar I have now, but it is just like a square that comes out straight from the subframe. I was thinking about bending it down so that when I grab it, I can lift my quad up higher. When I go to bend it, how should I do it. Should I just heat It up and then beat it with a hammer???

If it were me I would take it off of the quad before doing it so that you don't tweak the frame any, or you could weld a drop down "pickup bar underneith the grab bar"

make sure your heat it up good
