hot cam?

ive got an 05' 400ex w/hmf,k&n,jet kit,alum air box,revbox,13t front sprocket,and i run 110vp in itanyway i ride tight trails and climb hills in woods. i was wondering what exactly a cam would do for me or is not worth buying without getting a bore kit. thanks.

id do a stage 1 hotcam

for one, you can get rid of the 13t and go back to the stock if you wanted..

you will gain torque so might as well get some top end back

you could throw in a 10-1 piston or 11-1 since you are using high octane now...

I have a stock bore 2000. I chose a stage 2 hotcam and i have never regreted it!!

why are you running 110 in it if its still the stock piston?

u ever run 110 youll know why. but not to be a smartass if it blows ill fix it (better).

Its not gonna hurt your engine. I dont know why your spending the extra money on it, not like it gives you extra power if thats what your looking for. You'll get better power by using the lower octane (93).

i have the same mods as u excepy i have an hmf exhaust i have never regreted getting the stage 2. i did not loose any bottom end,it really accelorates faster,than it did go with the hotcams stage 2
