to race or not to race

my buddy just got an 03 z400 with a white-bros slip and an aftermarket airfilter, and he also runs with no lid on his airbox. I have a 2000 400ex with a hmf full system and a uni. So i was wondering who would win? im thinkin that he has the edge. We would just drag down a blacktop road. Now he's the kinda guy who would not stop giving me crap if i loose and i would hear about it all the time. So if anyone has input that would be great.

Well if you guys are gonna just get them side by side and top them out, just buy you a 16 tooth front srocket for the race. 25$. It should give you the top sped edge. If its a shorter race from what i hear on these forums you will lose.

why not just race and find out. the two quads are practically equal. i race one all the time and i win about 50% of the time.
