air box

I want to make an airbox out of diamond plate but i dont know the deminsions. I would also like to put my battery in the back of the air box. Can anyone help me out with the lengh width and depth? thnx -Troy

that would be a heavy air box- I'll give you the dimentions from the aluminum air box that I have-11 1/4" long x 7 1/4" wide and 5 3/4" tall

so it is perfectally square, front and rear ends are both the same hieight and there are no indents?

you might want to stiffen up your sub frame.mine cracked when i put an aluminum air box with the battery inside.

what is the point for thoes air boxes? are they just for looks?
and how would u keep water out ..beacuse im assuming you would have to drill holes for the battery
