Faster ???- Why is speed an issue ? Can you run 70 mph through the tight woods ?? heck-no. Are you building a drag quad ? What are your intentions ???

Im pretty sure he means faster acceleration, not top speed. You've already got a pipe and filter. You can always change the gearing a little, geta cam and piston. How are you topping out at 80 mph?

Unless you have changed the gearing or tires, your top speed calculation is a lie.

Yea everybody on here tries to say their atv will do 80+ mph and its kind of rediculious. But atleast you aknowledged that it was a rough estimate. I was clocked at 72mph when I had 22inch mudlights, but I wasn't hitting the revlimiter. I had a grizzly 660 behind me so thats a pretty close guess. Now with my 20inch razrs I could get 70 I would say.
With that question its all about how much money you wanna spend. I just put a wiseco 10:1 and hmf. made it a 416. New timing chain. For the motor work it was between 500 and 600$. Labor and parts. Looks like you already got a aftermarket pipe. So its just how much you wanna spend and get into the reliability. I went with a smaller bore and less compression because i wanna have a dependable quad for quite some time. But as some of the guys can tell you, you can go big bore, stroke, cam, higher compression and get some impressive increases.
