Well today me and my dad decided we were going to tear my 400ex down and get some parts for her

heres the list of mods im getting

while your waiting for parts to get back, and you've got everything torn down, take some time and just get some old tooth brushes, a few rags, and a can of wd-40 and just clean everything real good....like your swingarm would be a good place to start

Dude that color scheme is going to be awesome on there man... I saw in the last or one before last of the atvsport mag. the orange plastics, and maybe a bit darker of a blue than yours, almost a purple.. And it looked sweet man.

you can put a grab bar on it like from prm they make ones for the 400ex

Well today I took the blue stuff on the writing of the maxxis sign off and i polished them up and took a pretty good pic of the frame and front plastics. My dad was tired from work and didnt get home from work until 9 so we didnt do anything today. Here some pics of the rims and frame. Were going to get most of the work done saturday and sunday. heres the pics

today we started tightening the front end up ( aarms, shocks) and we put some of the electrical stuff on. We didnt do anything more because we have a bent steering stem and waiting for a new one to come in the mail. We just put the one back on to see if the braided brake lines worked.

We put my new steering stem in :) So it should be ready to go and we put the tie rods on and were waiting to torque it to make it perfect. Tell me what you guys think, it should be done soon!

That's sick! You gotta do one more thing... Take off everything you can find that comes off and polish it to a shine. Especially do the clutch and stator covers, as well as the oil filter cover. That will finish it off and make it look like a show quad. You might even make QOTM.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a YFZ...
