What year is this?

I have a suzuki lt230s quadsport that has a manfacturing date on the frame which is November of 86, but i'm wondering if it came out in 87. I can't go by the title because it has 1989 on it. Does anybody know any differences in the 1986 and 1987 suzuki lt230s quadsport?
