This skid plate sucks

I bought a UM skid plate. It sets way to low to the ground. I ran it for three miles at cross country race and went to the trailer to take it off. Got high centered three times during that short period. What do you all suggested for a good skid plate for racing.

I have a DG Baja series on my 400ex and you couldn't give me another one. High center all the time. It probably took a good inch of ground clearance away. I'm gonna go with PRM on my 450r very soon.

Your right UM sucks!!! I got one also at the last min. due to no PRM's in stock and I got hung up on everything. I put the stock skid back on till my PRM gets here.

I use the dg fat series it's .250

I gotta ebay my UM. I rode with it once and absolutely hated it. Poor fitting too. I put the stock one on for a while but recently picked up a DG Baja skid plate, great fit and doesnt reduce ground clearance at all. The UM would be good if I was running 25 inch rear tires lol.

Wow good thing you guys started this post. i was pretty close to getting a UM off ebay. I think now i'll stick with PRM. They havn't let me down in the past. Their grab bars are the best.

DG sucks my buddy karl had one and it was lyk 4 inches off the ground if not lower DG is a piece of chit end of story

personally i prefer my stock plate because it flexes and it works fine for my riding. but for rocky terrain i used to run a richochet or somethin like that.

my buddy has a richocet, its a great plate, and i run DG's now and dont have any problems with it and we ride in nothin but rocks. but everything is just rider preference.

UM, i went down to the DG and bought myself a Pro-Aluminum....but my wife got mad at me for spending the money because she's PRMing right now.
