has anyone put one of these on the 06 450r ?
I have talked to friends that put them on the dirtbike and claim
super improvements in throttle response.
the 450r has a bog when you nail it from low rpm, it recovers quick and by turning my idle up a bit it all but eliminated it.
but they are telling me that the crisp super quick response
is increadable.
they run about 75-85 bucks so I thought maybe someone had one they could give a review and their oppinion on it.
I rode one of the crf450's and it is insane but I didnt ride it before so its not possible for me to compair or assume it would make the same improvement on the quad as the dirtbike.
thankx

after searching posts Im not sure I want to even try the quickshot
seems others have installed it and had problems.
most say they have to wot to start. with the 06 e start you cant touch the gas.
Im thinking if I can get better low end response that lugging it in the trails then turning to blast up a hill will be so much better.

I was reading about the quickshot and was just curious. Does it really help out that much? How much does it improve throttle response? Thanks for the help.

Great product. I put one on my R last weekend and it made a huge difference. If you are going to be messing with the carb, make sure that you put one if those adjustable aftermarket fuel screws in there while you have it apart.

Is this only for FCR carburetors, in other words... will not work on 04-05 450's?

yes its only for the 06 carb, unless your replacing your 04/05 with the fcr carb.
thankx for the input, looks like Ill be getting one of these next payday, along with another verbal beating from the wife.
she seems to think I spend too much time and money riding,
I took her with me this weekend thinking if I get her hooked it may be easier for her to understand the addiction. lol

I got the HRC Kit with the Prodesign K&N kit.And i have no hesitation.Would this still make an improvement or be a waste of money!!!

gixxer, thats what I have also and I only notice the hesitation in rare instances, but if it will improve low end power and throttle response. Make it crisp and snappy I think I need it.
are you going to get an after market exhaust ? or keep the hrc ?
I wish rossier made a black slip on for the hrc header.

I used the HRC header with the Yoshimura RS7 comp slip on.
