Just like I knew better I just tore the bottom out of my oil tank!

Mainly Stock 01'- I was just changing the oil after a trip to the Land Between the Lakes and tore the bottom right of the oil tank. I overtighented it the last time I changed it. Shame on me I knew better.

Anyonme got a line on what a new OEM will cost me? Or where I can find one?

my bolt broke out before, we just rewelded it back on and havent had a problem since then (we did it last year)

I just got a new one from servicehonda.com. It was right around $86 shipped, I think.

If you get a new stock tank the newer ones have a reinforcment plate at the drain. I don't know if they changed the part number on it.

I think it was '03 when that change was made???
