I just put on a 416 kit and I have a new cam, piston and rings, and bore. How do you guys go about breaking them in and how long till I can really start pushing my new motor to its limits (riding hard like I did on the stock motor) If anyone could tell me in like hours or something that would be great.

Just ride it normal up to half throttle or so for about 20 minutes. Give it a break and just gradually increase in time and throttle. Also don't bog the motor up hills either instead of giving it a little more because thats hard on it too.

I cruised up and down dirt roads for two days at about half throttle. My break in time was 6 hours.

Good luck!:)
