i just put my megamax on my 250ex a couple of days ago and when i let off the throttle it cracks like 2 or 3 times. went onto the fmf website and it says to leave the jetting stock. how do i determine what needs changed? or could it be because i dont have anything to the spark arrestor on? i dont know what order the the spark arrestor goes in and my friend lost most of the screws to it. will running it with the spark arrestor completly off hurt anything and what is causing the cracking? Also, what order does the spark arrestor go in?

what do you mean it cracks? Backfiring?

put the spark arrestor into the muffler followed by the dics and last but not least put the end cap on and bolts. In that order.

i went to see my buddy and he said that i need to get a bigger main jet and can i just go to the local honda shop or the hardware store and buy the bolts?
