well i run a 06 twin air power flow kit on my 450r, and i want to for warn other users before what happened to me happens to more. there is a nut that bolts the cage of the filter to the mounting bracket on your intake, this nut worked its way out and into my motor and broke 3 vavles, F'd up the piston and cylinder, so i would def suggest trying to find a way to make sure that nut and bolt do not come undone on you, heres a few pics. please post your questions, comments and or suggestions.

I would check with Twin Air before I went and fixed it. It's their product and they SHOULD be responsible for fixing it. Let us know.

Sparks makes a real nice foam filter kit, it has no nuts to come loose and ruin a perfectly good engine ..

he must have somehow mounted the 04-05 filter. that has the billet ring, cage, wingnut/bolt.

i also have the twin air for my 06, has adapter ring, 2 clamps and filter.

i want to be sponsored too.
j/k

if you're sponsored, i would think you'd have a better chance at getting $$ for repairs.
