Can any one tell me how to check the rectifier on a 400ex?

its the lil metal part right beside your battery not sure how you really check it we pulled my buddies off and put it on another one then put it back on his

There might be a way to check resistance (ohms) on it to see if its in spec. I do not have a manual. Maybe someone with a manual can see if there is a checking procedure for it.

i have the honda manual...

it doesnt say specs for the rectifier...

what is the prob?

battery not charging?

check stator...should produce at least 100v and resistance .1-1 ohm...
