Most people are putting them in before they get the LTR out of the back of their trucks for the first ride. I stopped on the side of the road on the way home to snap mine in.

Shouldn't make a big difference, just follow the same break in procedure you would any other new quad.

it wont hurt it but i would break it in fully to see what power u have already to start with then install cherry bomb then u can see what the differance is if u just install be fore u break it in u will never know what u really gained as the motor breaks in u will get full power . hope this helps you

Rode mine about 3 hours on the streets in my neighborhood cruising (very quiet) before installing cb and pulling cover and sparky. Huge power difference and 0 problems with bike, now over 40 hours.
