John was not only awesome on the track, he was incredibly polite to everyone and spent time signing autographs and talking to fans. He is a true champion in our sport. I look forward to having him back at the park.

Unfortunately Michelle Riser didn't bring her quad along, she was there counting lap times for John. Everyone enjoyed hanging out on the bleachers talking to her. I can't say enough how down to earth and friendly they are.

Unfortunately a Flat tire cut his quad riding a little short!

All in all it was a great Thursday afternoon. I'm sure all the riders that happened to be here were sure happy they came out for that weekday ride. Its not too often you get to share the track with a top pro national quad racer. Unfortunately with my broken shoulder I was not able to get out there and pull any laps with the man. I'll be looking forward to his return.

That's cool that Natalie was there.Dan,you are right about them being very down to earth. We had the pleasure of meeting them at High Point and John took the time to talk to my 6 year old son and let him sit on his race quad. That made my son's day for sure.He seems to always make time for the fans.

At one point John stopped his quad to help my girlfriends 4 year old daughter down a hill on her pedal bike. Everyone was amazed at how cool he was. Hopefully for his next trip out we'll have a little notice and I can let everyone know he's gonna be here.

I'm not much of a mechanic but when the champ needs a tire change everybody was willing to lend a hand. Member Wayne Dadetto lent Natallie a brand new set of tires and rims to ride on.

A hand:p Thats all you have at the moment:D

And just to inform everyone, Dan is making plans for jumping back into racing for the 07 season! He not only is the owner of BPG, he is a damn good rider to boot! He expressed to me yesterday how he wished his arm wasnt broken up, he would have loved to given natalie a few laps!

And John.....next time you head over to BPG, give Dan a day or so notice. I know of a few riders that would love the chance to follow your roost and a few that would like to try and make you eat some:D ;)

I think he said it's like 2 hours or something like that from Penn State? I'm going to WyoTech in October and I should only be about a half hour away from you guys.

Wyotech is about 45 minutes to an hour (I drive Fasss) to Penn State altoona and the drive isnt bad. I was up at wyotech 2 or 3 weeks ago and its a really nice place. My friend is actualy gonna be going there for the diesel program too.

Just remember that wyotechs male to female ratio is about 95:1:eek2:

I think Proving grounds is far less then 2 hours but im not positive.

I think that the dorms are closer to Penn State than WyoTech. I'm not shure, I'm just goin by what I've heard Tommy say. As for the male to female ratio, thats why I'll be up at Penn State alot:macho

was he jumping everything on the bike as he was on the quad? and was he as fast on a bike?

dan harris

He ripped the park up on both bike and quad. Had everything dialed in within 2 laps, on both bike and quad. His bike was definately a 250 but I don't remember seeing the dual exhausts.
